What You’ll Need
Required Tools
- ✓ Precut tint kit
- ✓ Spray bottle with soapy water (16 oz water + 4–5 drops baby shampoo)
- ✓ Squeegee (soft edge)
- ✓ Microfiber cloths
- ✓ Utility knife or razor blade
- ✓ Lint-free paper towels
Recommended Tools
For best results
- ✓ Heat gun or hair dryer
- ✓ Hard card (for tucking edges)
- ✓ Glass scraper blade
Installation Steps
Prepare the Work Area
- Park in a dust-free area away from wind
- Ensure you have good lighting — shadows hide dust and bubbles
- Wash your hands thoroughly to avoid transferring oils to the tint
Clean the Windows Thoroughly
- Roll the window up fully
- Spray inside glass generously with soapy water
- Use a microfiber cloth or squeegee to wipe away dirt
- Pay special attention to the edges and seals — dust hides here
- Remove all stickers, adhesives, and residue
- For stubborn grime, use a glass scraper blade carefully
- Dry the window with a clean microfiber cloth
Test Fit the Precut Tint
- Identify each piece in your kit (they’re cut for inside installation)
- Lightly place the tint on the inside of the window (liner side facing you)
- Confirm alignment with all edges
- If something seems off, contact support before installation
Apply the Tint
For Side Windows:
- Spray outside of the glass lightly with soapy water
- Place the tint on the outside (liner facing you) to confirm orientation
- Peel away about 1–2 inches of the liner from the top edge
- Spray adhesive side generously with soapy water as you peel
- Carefully place the tint on the inside of the window, aligning the top edge first
- Spray the top of the tint (non-adhesive side) with soapy water
- Use a squeegee from the center outward to push out water/air bubbles
- Gradually peel the liner down while spraying adhesive and smoothing into place
For Rear Windshield:
- If your tint comes in multiple pieces, overlap as designed
- Spray the outside of the rear glass and lay the tint (liner side out) to heat-shrink it
- Use a heat gun to gently shrink the film from center outwards
- Once shaped, peel the liner inside, spray adhesive side, and install using the same center-out squeegee method
Final Tuck & Trim
- Use a hard card wrapped in microfiber to tuck the tint under rubber window seals
- If there’s minor excess at the bottom edge, carefully trim using the glass as a guide
- Avoid cutting seals
Curing & Care
- Do NOT roll down windows for 3–5 days (or longer in cold weather)
- Small water bubbles or haze are normal — they’ll disappear as the film cures (up to 7 days)
- Clean only with ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth
Pro Tips for Best Results
Keep Everything Wet
Use soapy water during installation — it allows repositioning and prevents creases.
Squeegee Technique
Always squeegee from the center out to avoid trapping water.
Use Heat
Heat helps mold film to curves and speeds curing.

Important Warnings
